First of all, I want to emphasize that it is not strange to wake up with a bad day, as some people may attribute it to supernatural causes. We all have days when we wake up on the wrong side of the bed. Some of the causes are insufficient sleep, Fatigue, hangover, a bad diet, or lack of food from the previous night. The good news is that you don’t have to continue or end your day on the wrong side, and I strongly advise you to fix your day before moving on; as basic perceptions are distorted and your mind tends to process more negativity. There are a couple of things you can do to realign your day.
The First thing is to acknowledge your feelings. Acknowledgment is a vital part of our emotional life; it sets a balance between our mind and our brain. The next step is doing something that excites or relieves you: It could be listening to music, grabbing a cup of coffee, watching a comedy, reading a book, or completing a task(something as little as arranging your bed).
Research has shown that genuine success excites the mind. Another helpful way is starting your day with tasks that your body is already used to; this is why I advise people to build a morning routine. A morning routine is a set of actions you perform in the morning before the day’s main activity. It could be brushing your teeth, drinking a glass of water or a cup of coffee, a 30 minutes gym work out, etc. A morning routine is effective because it builds up muscle memory that eases the start of your day.
